Q. My Hotmail account is driving me mad. Whenever I log in I have to put my login name and password every time, there is no facility to remember me. Would you know if this is a general fault on Hotmail, or is there something I can do? It’s so annoying having to log in every time. Appreciate your help, many thanks, Paul
A. Hi Paul, you don’t tell me what operating system or web browser you are using so I am going to assume that you are using Vista or Windows 7 with Internet Explorer 9. If you are not yet using IE 9 then the first thing I would recommend you do is download it and install it, if you have a look at your Windows Update settings it should be in there waiting for you to agree to its install. If you already have IE9 installed then have a look inside Tools, Internet Options, Content and click on the “settings” button next to AutoComplete, you should have a tick in the box “ask me before saving passwords”.
